How do I set up an epresso account?

The first time you use epresso you’ll need to set up an epresso account.

To do this, just select ‘not registered yet?’ from the sign-in page. The registration form is quick and easy to complete. Like most sites, epresso lets you use your email as your username.

Your epresso account works just like prepaid mobile or broadband. You simply top up the balance using your credit card, then you use your credit to purchase coffees.

When you want more credit, you just top up again.

Each time you top up, epresso will send a tax invoice to your email address. (It’s our way of saying ‘hope you can treat this as a business expense.’)

I can’t find my favourite café on epresso. What can I do?

Your favourite café isn’t using epresso yet?! Well get in there and tell them to! (go on, you’ll both be grateful you did!)

Seriously though, we plan to see epresso available in the best independent cafes, carts and coffee shops around Australia very soon, but we might not get to your local straight away.

In the meantime, just tap ‘find a café’ to locate the epresso-friendly outlet closest to your home or work and start enjoying the benefits now.

But be sure to tell your favourite café that they should give epresso a go! (Or give us their contact details and we’ll do our best to get epresso into their store as soon as we can.)

What if I can’t sign-in?

There are only a couple of reasons why you wouldn’t be able to sign-in to epresso.

Firstly, there will be the rare occasion when epresso hits a technical issue. (Hasn’t happened yet, but hey, we’re human.) If this happens, just try again in a couple of minutes and we should have things sorted out.

Secondly, there could be an issue with your password. In this case simply tap ‘forgot password’ and we’ll email you instructions to change your password.

What if I need to change my account details?

If you need to change your account details for any reason, just sign-in using your existing username and password and go to ‘my account’. Follow the prompts to update your sign-in details or any other field you like.

You will be sent a confirmation email acknowledging the change.

What if I make a mistake while ordering my coffee?

Your order is not processed until the last step when you tap ‘place my order’. Until then, you can go back and change any part of your order at any time.

However, once your order has been placed, it is processed automatically at the café and is final. So be sure to check your request before you place your order.

What if I order my coffee and then I get held up?

As the epresso order process is completely automated, the time you designate to pick up your coffee will be the time it is ready for you.

If you’re late, we can’t guarantee your coffee will still be piping hot, so if there’s a chance you’ll be held up, it’s probably best to allow a few extra minutes on your pick up time just in case.

What if the café gets my order wrong?

It’s true, even baristas occasionally make mistakes.

In the unlikely event you arrive to pick up your coffee and it is not the coffee you ordered, you can double-check your order by referring to the label on the lid (which is printed automatically) or the confirmation email we sent to you after you placed your order.

If a genuine mistake has been made in preparing your coffee, let your barista know and they’ll gladly brew the correct coffee for you.
